Press Players Club started as a group chat between five friends who couldn't stop arguing about records. We'd spend hours dissecting a single side of vinyl — the sequencing, the production choices, the moments that hit different on the tenth listen. We figured there had to be more people like us.
The mission
One album. One month. Unlimited takes. We pick a record, give it the time it deserves, and open the floor to everyone who wants to go deep. No hot takes for clicks. No star ratings. Just honest, obsessive listening and the conversations that follow.

How the club works
We pick the album
Each month the editorial team selects one record — chosen for depth, cultural weight, or sheer re-listenability. No genre limits.
You listen
Members get the pick on the first of the month. You've got four weeks to sit with it, revisit it, and form your take.
We discuss
The community board opens up. Post your thoughts, respond to others, and let the conversation go wherever the music takes it.
It lives in the archive
Every pick and its discussion gets preserved in the archive — a growing record of what we've listened to and what we thought about it.

Founder & Editor
Former music journalist. Has strong opinions about sequencing and will defend them at length. Responsible for at least three arguments about Kanye per month.
Tomás Reyes
Community Lead
Grew up between Mexico City and Chicago. Believes the best music conversations happen at 2am. Keeps the discussion board civil without making it boring.
Priya Nair
Archive & Research
Musicologist by training, obsessive by nature. She's the one who finds the interview from 1987 that recontextualizes everything. Specialises in jazz and South Asian fusion.
